I'm very curious to see what some of you guys think is appropriate punishment for crimes. I know there is a lot of different opinions out there, conservative and liberal etc. Whatcha think?

Lets not jump the gun here, the woman is merely "suspected of killing her baby".

Do you not think it would be a tad premature to start discussing any possible punishment before the case comes to trial?

You know, 'due process', 'innocent until proven guilty', 'sub judice' and all that?

*If* she did it, it would seem like the crime would be premeditated murder, at least to me : if she was hiding the pregnancy so long, she probably had an idea of what she was going to do when the baby was born.

ok ok, but who else could have possibly done it. Do you think that maybe right when she had her child someone else was standing there, stole the baby then did the did against her will...? There is no question that she murdered her child, so I think that we can get passed that
