The ones I can see are Barthes Mythologies, Wilson Ornette Coleman, Algreen Man With the Golden Arm, Thompson Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Mingus Beneath the Underdog, Moment's Notice, Jazz in Poetry and Prose, Dante Purgitorio (not mine, haven't read it), Introducint Semiatics, Auster Timbuktu, Danielewski House of Leaves, Bukowski Notes of a Dirty Old Man, Devil's Dictionary, Bruce How to Talk Dirty and Influence People, and Lem [i]Peace on Earth.
Bored enough to do that. There are other books scattered about, but I have a poor record for retaining media.

If your Dante is Ciardi's translation, you should give it a look; he has done an amazing job.

If your Dante is Ciardi's translation, you should give it a look; he has done an amazing job.
Allen Mandelbaum. I haven't read any of the divine comedy. I'm a slow reader, so I don't read as much as I think I should. I have a friend that reads really frikin' fast and it just ends up disheartening. I'm easily not on par with a lot of the reading list of the NSers...lot of readers on here...
