Has anyone got the time and/or inclination to give me a bit of help with images in either Paint or Adobe Photo Deluxe 2?

I want to paste the head of one animal onto the body of another, then clone - or whatever - the colour of the body onto the head, and neither will let me.

Can you either tell me in Idiot's Guide terms, how to do this, or point me at an URL for either tutorials or a free downloadable image programme I could use instead of these two?

err,,,,, um, try pasting the skin, but 1 infinite loop is the resident graphics master... ask him

I would be interested in that too.

A mask is the easiest way to do that in Photoshop but I don't know about those others :?
