What is a Traditional Viking Feast? I know they needed beer. Rolls in kegs. What else?

my gf is icelandic, and their idea of a feast is to kill a shark (possibly with their bare hands), wrap it in herbs and spices (not unlike dead jesus) and bury it at least 6 feet under ground in sand for roughly seven years. Then they dig it up and eat it. No joke.

next up on the icelandic list of delicacies is hard fish

basically, they dehydrate raw salted fish and eat it like potatoe chips. mmmmmmm.... hard fish....
