So, who here is going to Glastonbury? Got your tickets? I know i had to spend 7 hours in the early hours of the morning to get the tickets off aloud and that some of my college friends have still been unsuccessful in aquiring tickets.

egh, hell no, Glastonbury Festival is the most amazing festival ever, over 100,000 people at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Glastonbury in Somerset, it is absolutely awesome, the bands are just a bonus.

like, 50,000 tickets sold in the first 4 hours, they've all sold out now. There must be someone on Nationstates who's going.

So it's like an arts and music convention? Sounds interesting, if it weren't 8000 miles from here and sold out.

lol, it is amazing, but yeah, as you say, they sold out even quicker than last year, it's a bummer to be sure.

Is fence hopping still an option or did they build that uber fence to stop all that?

well, they have got that uber fence again, AND a FUCKER load of security, although last year we stayed too long on the monday and they'd locked the exit gate nearest us, so we had to climb the fence to get OUT of glastonbury lmao.

There must be someone here who got tickets, im not letting this go.

I've always been more of a Reading festie kinda gal ( but then i did grow up in Reading)

Oh, don't get me wrong, Reading is a good festival, great music, but, i've been to both, and although Reading is good fun, it doesn't have the spirit of Glastonbury, Glasto is just the best festival ever...en me opinion.

*shrugs*

there has to be someone who's going, infact there must be a few, we should meet up, or something.

I have the White Stripes show from Glastonbury last year (or whenever it was) and it's absolutely amazing
Sigh...If only it wasn't 8000 miles away and sold out

Nope, no Glasto ticket for me - too expensive, gone too quickly. However I am going to T in The Park. Not as big, just as good.

No thanks. Hopefully, I'll get a weekend ticket for Leeds Festival. That's closer to me than Reading, and they have the same bands playing, but on different weekends.

Meh, maybe no one here is going, though it seems unlikely.

Two of my friends at school got tickets to Glastonbury, they were lucky. Sounds like such a great atmosphere, I hope I can go sometime. I didn't even bother trying to get the tickets, my parents made it pretty clear I'm not allowed to go. :(

Man, that's pretty shitty, I'm in college so my 'rents don't have a lot of choice, although they did try and convince me that Glastonbury is a big conspiracy in which hundreds of people die every year and the local councils cover it up, but the only one who knows about it is my parents electrician *shifty eyes* seems pretty likely to me.

Did anyone get tickets?
