wow. that is absolutely hilarious. I wish they would air those commercials in the US.
Yeah, it's kind of depressing that many European cars aren't sold in the USA.
Perhaps the old Renault memories of "poor" quality (if you experienced a lemon) still plague them from reentering the American economy?
As for the ad, it was viciously humorous. :D

my kind of car opperates in multiple unit, runs on a guideway and carries passingers
even two out of three is better then what we're used to
(it also runs on batteries recharged from solar/wind/micro-hydro and other clean alternatives, it also runs on very narrow gauge guideways, many though by no means all, being flanged wheel on steel rail, and is built to human scale proportions)
