If you speak of the war in Iraq, then I say yes. In fact, I say we pull back all our forces from abroad. Let the South Koreans repulse the North Koreans. Let the Iraqis fall further into decay. Let England be England.

Isolationism is the only solution here. The world hates us. That's fine. I have no problem with the US pulling back, shutting the borders, and closing the world out. Let us see how they do without our trade, without our economy, without our military dominance.

If they do fine, so be it. I don't care anymore. But if they don't, then that's just too bad. But before we go, I say we fire bomb every city along the way. Hate begets hate. True enough, but with the US hate begets fire bombing.

But if the truth were told, we could pull out of every nation that hates us for being there [Iraq, Saudi Arabia, S. Korea, etc.] and they would still hate us. So I say, to modify my plan, pull back all our forces and when the world decides to take pot shots at us even though we complied with their wishes, fire bomb them again.

Peace is the dream of fools.

I disagree with that. Those who choose war, say it is to bring us closer to peace, and I'm starting to wonder if maybe that makes sense. With war we solve some problems, but make other problems in its place. With inaction we have the same problem indefinitelly. You have to think now. Are we at war, just so that we don't get bored?

i didn't used to be sure whether or not the war should be happening, then last month i went on a school trip to France and Belguim to visit WW1 and 2 graveyards (a bit morbid, i know), and it really made me realise what a tragic waste of life war is, when you are told the number of people who died i don't think it has quite the same effect as when you see all the graves, it really made me think, at least inWW1 and 2 there was no choice but to go to war but i don't think the war in Iraq is justified anywhere near enough
