I have this friend who has a unique style of phraseology. he has invented such wonderful phrases as:

"I work all the hours God Gives me, I work 7-11"
"Please do not misintend me"
"He is far too self contained"
"I never missrespect anyone".

I'm not sure if he chooses to speak that way deliberately but his style is certainly unique.

Does anyone know of any other phrases which are uniquely original?

I believe 'malapropism' is the correct name for one of these types of phrases.

"u gotta be shitting me"
"no, i am not 'shitting' u?

who came up with that?

My boss made me laugh out loud when he said to me, "Oh I know. You think I'm paranoid, don't you?"

My friend when very het up and being asked to hold something for someone else:

"I'm not an octopus, I only have eight pairs of arms".

Your friend isn't George W Bush Jr., is he? Quotes 2 and 4 kinda got me thinking...

My beloved tells me: "Don't beat a dead horse into the ground".
