Post it here.

Opened the day to the White House to fundies. Appealed to them be supporting a constitutional ban on homosexual marriage. Gave American companies the prime pick of post-war Iraqi contracts.

President Bush has not effectively stopped the illegal immigration problem. We should be doing something (like building a giant wall or having the national guard patrol the borders) instead of encouraging illegals to cross the border to work.

I actually support that - very Soviet.

He's hardly had incentive to do something about this, what with the democratic (former) Governor of California giving college handouts, the right to vote, and driver's liscences to illegal aliens.

Has Bush made mistakes? Yeah. Is he human? Last time I checked. Could any of us do better? I most sincerely doubt it.

(All this is from his beginning to mid-2001, so it may not be too updated, as you could guess. Also, English is not my native language so it may be difficult to understand at time what I am writing.)

Lowered the library goverment funds with 39 million dollars.

Lowered the goverment funds for research within children's medicine with 35 million dollars.

Lowered the goverment funds for research in recycle-able energysources with 50%.

Put the laws that would reduce the lowest limits for arsenik in drinking water to acceptable values.

Lowered the goverment funds to develop cleaner, more effective cars and trucks with 28%.

Recalled laws that strengthened the goverment's power to forbid contracts for companies that are breaking federal laws.

Allowed minister Gale Norton to ask for bids to open national parks for logging, mining, oil-drilling and gas-drilling.

Broken his promise in the elections 2000 to invest 100 million dollars per year to save the rainforests.

Lowered the goverment funds for the Community Access Program - that have as duty to coordinate healthcare for the ones that miss healthinsurance and send them to hospitals, clinics and other healthcares - with 86%.

called back a proposal to heighten the public's information in what would happen if a chemical industry would have an accident.

Lowered the goverment funds for the work that is managed by Girls and Boys Club of America to give homeless people roof over their head with 60 million dollars.

Refused to sign the Kyoto-protocoll from 1997 that would prevent global climat-changes that have been signed by 178 other nations.

Ignored the international agreement from 1972 to ban bacterial use in wars.

Lowered the goverment funds with 200 million for rehabilitation for unemployeed.

Lowered the goverment funds with 200 million for the program Childcare and Development - a business that works with childcare for lowpayed employees.

I could name a lot more, but I don't want to do it right now, I am watching a soccer game. :D

As to this last bit bout American companies...ahmmm....we went in without the UN because they sat on their hands....we bore the brunt of the fighting..we bore the brunt of political flak..why shouldn't American companies get first dibs?...why give contracts to foreign companies from countries that didn't support us from the get go?..Now after the sacrifices were given you'd expect us to give out contracts to people who weren't there for us?

I thought this was addressed to Bush lovers. Do you love President Bush?

I agree with Project Atlantis about the immigration.

But there's a lot of government spending that's going on now that I am against (not the war though). I think we shouldn't be passing every spending bill that comes through Congress, and that we should reduce government expenditures.

Well, considering the US has 14% hispanic population (including me) I don't think he would have liked to waste those precius votes

I disagree with.....

His stupid anti-gay marriage amendment.

The crack down on indecency, its just pandering to the religious conservatives, I mean come on people the boob wasnt even nice to look at.

I also dislike all the crap with religious groups and his uber conservative ideals.

Other than that I think he is not doing such a bad job.

Of course these items will prevent me from voting for him again.

Most of these are spending cuts to areas where the govt has no business anyway. So what's the problem?

I don't think he's cut enough yet!
