Will someone explain this to me?

Kerry plans to raise taxes for the wealthiest 10% of Americans. However, the vast majority of them are small business owners. That means that these small businesses may be unable to afford to expand. They may have to let people go, instead of hiring more.

Kerry also says he will decrease unemployment. Huh? :?

That is just a small number. What about the rest of the jerks?

Besides, I heard it was 2%.

The wealtheast 10% of Americans are small business owners? When does a small business become a large one?

Well, think about it. Not all 10% of the largest majority own huge, multinational corps. 10% is a large, large chunk. Small business owners are, of course, going to float into this catergory. I think we should personally take more taxes from the 60%-46% range. Those guys are bastards.

If you think about it, even if it is the top 10%, there really shouldn't be an impact on business. Even if you entirely own a business with out incorperating it, you should get a salery. It is this salery that will be taxed, not the operational costs. The only way that it would is if the owner believes that he should pay whatever he wants in taxes and then he will increase his salery, making operational expenses more.
