Are girls just generally more attractive?

I assume it's because there is a point with some guys where they are looking casual sex, can't get any and so they figure "Ah, what the hell, a hole is a hole and a blowjob is a blowjob, so I'll be gay!"

And about threesomes, can a MFF threesome leave everyone geniunely satisfied? I don't want to go into details but I haven't heard of a guy who did more than one thing at a time successfully.

as a bisexual, i will say most certainly NO. the sexes are equally physically attractive, but in different ways. healthy women have curves but healthy men have clean, smooth lines. while women have breasts (yay), men usually have better muscle definition (also yay).

the only thing that skews matters is that men tend to dress in ways that don't flatter their bodies, while women dress for no other reason at all. men wear pants that sag too much and shirts that are too baggy, and often do really stupid things to their hair (like drowning it in gel).

if guys learned to dress in ways that flattered their bods i guarantee people would start realizing how fair the non-fairer sex really is.

Erm...

seriously. my boyfriend has amazing hair (it looks like he should be in shampoo commercials) but it took me forever to convince him that he looks better without a gallon of gel slathered on his head. a little gel can look nice, but very few guys understand that adding more gel won't make you look that much nicer.

*shurgs* i guess it is a matter of opinion. i think they are equally hot, just in different ways, but most people are so sexualized by modern culture that they don't see anything that doesn't have boobies. most people i know (male or female) insist that women are hotter, but don't want to admit that has anything to do with the fact that for every male model in popular media there are 10 female models.

Has little to do with models...I can't stand the channels most likely to have them, and they're usually so anorexic that they're about as sexually attractive as the starving ethiopian children that Worldvision shows you.

it's not about the models themselves, it's about the constant barrage of women and female forms. if you think it doesn't effect you then (no offense) you're kidding yourself. i know it effects me, i've got no problem admitting that.

and as for women being more aesthetically pleasing, i dunno...women have cellulite, men don't. women have a more narrow window of attractive weights (in my opinion) because they have to have enough meat on them to look curvy and not have bones sticking out but they have to be in shape enough so that the whole mass of flesh doesn't jiggle comically when they move. men tend to be able to carry more weight without it really showing, just because of where they gain weight and how they are built. men also tend to have nicer arms (though women usually have nicer legs), nicer tummies, and nicer backs.

i spend a lot of time thinking about this, as you can see. :P

i do, believe me :). but if you look at the typical mens and women's magazines you see an overwhelming bias toward female models, not only on the covers but inside as well. muscle magazines still usually have about a 50-50 ratio of male to female, and that's unusually male-heavy...but you can always get the GQs or the Mens Healths that are true MEN magazines. yum.

Perhaps my standards are just fairly low, but I can safely say I find ~95% of the women on campus extremely attractive.

But why is it different in other species, such as birds?

Scientifically speaking, females are designed to be the more attractive gender. In basic biology, women aren't really supposed to be physically attracted towards men for physical reasons at all. Obviously, as evolved beings we've grown beyond that, though. Still, when you look at lower beings, it proves true, except in cases like...

But why is it different in other species, such as birds?
Yeah. I have no idea. I doubt there even is a reason. Kinda weird, huh?
