Here we go, another great week in this United States of America. If you're not in the USA, well, a great week to you too. Tonight, softball wasn't as fun as it was last week, as the Lions fell to a 2-1 record, by taking a 15-1 whupping. Last week, we had victories at 22-11 and 12-1. Tomorrow we play again, trying to get back to 3-1. Here's your reading assignments.

- Well, it seems like a Frenchman sent an email to James Taranto, from OpinionJournal.com, who published it. The readers of OpinionJournal take Frenchy to the woodshed.

- Sticking with OpinionJournal for a little longer, James Fund thinks the antiwar activities of John Kerry deserve as much attention as his war heroics (which no one on the right denies.)

- Only Democrats can rejoice at bad news. Maybe that's why they can't wait for the 9/11 commission report, which they think will blame 9/11 on George Bush (nevermind that he only had 7 1/2 months in office prior to 9/11, and the scum who committed that savagery had been planning and in place since at least 1999...hmmm, who was president then??)

- Now we know why some of you on these threads have such abysmal knowledge of pretty much anything...the books you use at school are awful!!

- Clarence Page analyzes a study on the sex and gender attitudes of black teenagers...it ain't pretty. So much for "gangsta" and "hip hop" being about "keeping it real".

- Richard Clarke made a big act of "apologizing" to the families of the victims of 9/11 last week. Today, family members say "thanks, but no thanks."
http://www.nypost.com/postopinion/opedcolumnists/17665.htm

- More about the 9/11 Commission...Joel Mowbray wonders, would things have been different if Bill Clinton had done something about al-Qaeda back in the 1990's?
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/joelmowbray/jm20040329.shtml

- Diana West has a question: which version of Richard Clarke is to be believed?
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/dianawest/dw20040329.shtml

- And Robert Novak examines the metamorphosis of Richard Clarke, from frustrated bureaucrat to political partisan with a book to sell.
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/robertnovak/rn20040329.shtml

- Neil Cavuto is right. The 9/11 Commission is accomplishing exactly one thing: it's making the terrorist scum laugh at the US. Time to get it over with.
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/neilcavuto/nc20040327.shtml

- In 1971, John Kerry told Congress that "200,000 Vietnamese a year were murdered by the United States of America." Kerry has flip-flopped, again, saying he didn't mean it. This editorial wonders just what he meant.

And, to close tonight's edition,

- We'll end things up with a presentation that puts things into perspective, from an economical point of view.

Well, there you go. Tomorrow night there might or might not be a column, we'll see how I can make the schedule work. Enjoy!

Panhandlia, even though I don't agree with you whatsoever, you do put a lot of thought into your posts, and I appreciate that.

Just a general criticism of the people you're posting Panhandlia--none of them are actually trying to attack Clarke on his testimony, only on his motivation, and two, if Clinton was unable to do more against al-Qaeda (and he did a great deal, whether you want to beleive that or not), it's because every time he tried, he was accused of "wagging the dog." Ask yourself if the partisan Republican congress have any responsibility for that.
