I have a white hair that grows from the back of my right ear. I constantly have to pluck it every few months or so. What's up with that?

Keep in mind I'm 16 years old, with DARK hair.

Every person has a certain amount of Pigment in their hair folicels.

if there isn't any pigment, your hair turns grey. So I guess you have a slight genetical defect, wich allowed you to have little to no pigment in that spot.

Atleast that's what they told us in Biology class,

On the other hand, the same guy who gave us Biology, insisted that Dolly parton was actually a cloned martian sheep working for a top secret organisation out to get his brain,

So I don't think he is such an reliable source.

Only one way to find out...Stop plucking it and see where it takes you...

My high school psych teacher had the same thing, except he wanted to grow it out, see how big it got.

His wife always plucked it while he was sleeping.

Ewww.... gross, the first time i noticed it, it was at least 2 inches long, so it did some growing while i didn't notice it. If i were to leave it it would just grow to be a really long, whitish-blondish strand.... The thought is just too revolting...

Come to think of it, I have another genetic defect, I have a small bump on the back of my head. (It's right in middle of my head, equidistant from the top of my ears, going around the back of my head, right in the middle.) My psychology teacher says he has the same kind of bump, even though I didn't see it with my own eyes, but whatever, I believe him.

But anyway, it's weird

AND

I can do this thing with my eyes, where I can shake them really fast left to right. They look like they vibrate. It's a cool trick. I have good eye muscle control  8)
