Next wednesday Max Barry is doing a book signing in Manhattan. I plan on being there with a Free Tresville sign and eventually buy his book (right after the protest).
So u can meet Max if u buy his book...but u can meet me for free!! Feel free to join in the protest...bring your Free Tresville signs and Free The West Pacific signs!!!
I will see if I Video tape the whole thing and put it on the net for NSers to see...I'll keep everyone posted!

'Snot fair. The guy's Australian, but I've got as much chance of seeing him here as I have of seeing him in New York. Same basic problem as Tuesday Heights.

...and I'm afraid I won't be doing any of those. The reading is in the evening, so I've no excuse, really. That, and I was legitimately ill last week and took off Thursday and Friday whilst trying to put my stomach back inside out. Taking a day off now would be a Bad Idea(tm).
Oy, any day besides Wednesday and I'd be there. Hell, even any other time on Wednesday and I'd be there. But.....no. Damn Womans Studies class, it just has to be Wednesday at 6:00. I mean seriously, this class is once a week, they couldn't have dropped it on Thursday? Or maybe at noon, so I'd have time to drive to the city? But no, it has be right freaking now.
I mean seriously, I'm actually willing to drive to New York for this (And I have sworn to never even think of driving in New York until '10) and I'm being foiled by faulty planning. Arg.
