Who ever wrote this whole thing... Is there no such thing as compromise... does he believe govts dont compromise... I think he's still got A LOT to learn... You cant just copy "1984" and think you know what youre talking about. Its a nice idea for a book... but its not realistic.

1 - Gameplay comments go in gameplay. Unless you're talking about specific issues, which of course, go in issues. This is not the forum to badmouth the game in.
Further, the point of the game is to be over the top and not literally representative. It is satire, not a 'realistic' nation simulation.

If you want to have anyone pay attention to your whining, Gatkopia, you need to learn to whine in the right place. Starting off your posting career by calling the site owner "just stupid" is probably not a great way to generate instant respect, either.

Question: What is the point of a fiction book?
Answer: To entertain.
That being said...why does it matter whether it's realistic or not? And if he did get material from 1984, who gives a rats ass? It was a good book, so he derived a couple of points from it. I am willing to bet, however, that's it's more closely related to Soylent Green (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soylent_green) than 1984, but I haven't completely watched the movie, so...
So what I'm getting at, I guess, is why whine about a book that's fun to read?
