Seeing the success of #NationStates2 (it is sometimes the 3rd largest NationStates channel on EsperNet), we have expanded to create #Jennifer_Government. Same ops, same bot, same Nanakaland. However, this is the only channel for the discussion of Jennifer Government the book and movie, Syrup, and Max Barry in general.

Okay. Here's how to get there:

1) Find an IRC client. Google it. Most of us use mIRC, but others are fine, too.
2) Install the IRC client.
3) Connect to irc.esper.net
4) Join #Jennifer_Government (/join #Jennifer_Government command works)
5) Chat with other people interested in Jennifer Government, Syrup, Max Barry and other related things.

EsperNet is an IRC server that has the largest NationStates population.

Isn't it possible to discuss Jennifer Government in the other IRC channels, such as #ns_g, since most of them don't have a clear cut discussion topic... I just don't see the point in a having to be in a million different channels just to talk about subjects that, frankly, don't get talked about a lot.

Well, I created it to make sure this forum has a chatroom because every other one does (except archives). I didn't want to leave out a topic worthy enough for its own forum.

Well, don't you that's a waste of time if nobody is going to frequent it? I mean, look at how frequently this sub-category gets during a week. I think that was our point.

I'm not saying it wouldn't get use, I'm just saying that it's very unlikely to take off based on the pattern here, that's all.
