Politically...where now?

So, I read the book, and it was pretty good. Not the best I've read, but then, he's up against LotR, so what do you expect?

Anyway, I was wondering where it falls on the political scale? I mean, it's anti-capitalism, obviously, but it's also pretty right-wingish...
So what's the name for someone like that???

Eh, LotR will always be the best. Tolkien is a frigging genius. No offense to Max, of course...you just can't compare them, eh?

Anyway, kinda figured it was right-wing, but the anti-capitalism kinda threw me off, and I could have sworn someone in general mentioned that it was left-wing

It's not anti-capitalism, it's more anti-corporate capitalism.

You could go to the political compass (http://politicalcompass.org/) and enter what you think Max would, although it could be inaccurate.

Lotr is horrible. Maybe not horrible, but nothing compared to Max.
