Jennifer Government and Waterstones

About a week after I bought my copy of Jennifer Government I noticed it in the big massive Waterstones in Manchester (as opposed to the little massive Waterstones in Manchester) in the Sci-Fi/fantasy section. So it got to the point in my life were I wanted to buy Syrup so I toddled up an entire flight of stairs to the Sci-Fi/Fantasy section, because it seemed logical that they would keep them together, and there was no trace of Max Barry. Jennifer Government has been relegated to plain old 'fiction'.

So at the end of my boring post I'd like to ask were does your bookshop keep Max Barry's books?

Syrup never got a UK publisher, so it's not on any bookshelves here :(

Now would be the time to say something mean about the UK... but I'll refrain :P

I got both Syrup and JG from online, as I'm too lazy to go into actual bookstores. I've never actually seen them, though.

My local Waterstones has many US imports (the last three books I bought from there aren’t published here) I was hoping to get lucky.

Well mine was...near the sci fi section, it was in it I guess, but I had trouble finding it, as there was a section alphabetically on one side of the shelf, and the a section of the same letter on the other side...it was confusing...

But the wonders of the internet allow us to have it...so it's not all bad.

I think I found Jen Gov in adult fiction .. or satire ... ( shrug )

I'll have to chase down Syrup soon too, can't wait for the next one.

I found my copy at Waterstones, in the fiction section as well.

Good job really as the fiction section is at the beggining of the store and I'm waaaay to lazy to go right to the back of the mile long store.
