I just finished syrup..
And I'm in love with that book. What Max does with his writing makes you fall in love with the characters. I thank him greatly for this.

Too many people coul be disappointed with JG if they read it afterwards! :roll:
...then the frustration there's nothing left to do but sit here in my underpants checking out the internet to see who this Max guy is. Found JG reading end of 2003 book reviews, loved it, but went too fast. I didn't want it to end so I got Syrup and the genious of Max(x) continued.
