while staring ideally at the walls of my godforsaken flat, i had a thought.
for lack of anything better to do, i often find myself reading through the NS forum just randomly, there are some Fantastic authors posting right here. in really sweeping and beautiful ‘role-plays’ which would be better described as narrative monologues.. which gave me an idea

why doesn't Max put together a book of short stories based and taken from the stuff put up on the forum
so long as a proportion of the profits go back into the site (and lets face it, the way he writes on the news pages it probably dose already :P) im sure all the authors would be happy to sign over the copyright for a little credit at the beginning of the ‘short story’

im rambling now but i think its a good idea,

perhaps each story could be based on the actions of a single region, in the case of Sisguardia, we have a lot of interconnected plot lines, and with i little work they could be assembled into a nice narrative

there are storeys that more or less can be transcribed from the site as they were written ‘Echoes of lives lost’ by reploid productions. now resident in the archives topic is a fantastic example of a talented author at work, and would be a good addition to a book of short stories.



on a more capitalist note, you have the demographic from the nation states players alone to make it a valid proposal to the publishers, it would be easy to write, and i think it would help instil more of a community feeling to the place, if such a thing is possible :P

He wouldn't be writing the content of this Short Story Anthology, we would.

i think the third book is well underway by now... once a book is started it really writes itself until the editing stage...
and the NS anthology would just need.... well.. spellchecked for one...

I think it's a good idea, I just assumed that anything on this site was Barry's property by default, since it is loosly based on the JG book.

I had this idea a while back, but my idea was more about what is happening on the other end of our computers. I am interested in how NS affects our lives, and what we take from it into the "RW". I think it would make a fascinating documentary.

i cant remember the nbame but it was by Reploid Productions....
