Yay! Finally!

A few days ago I finally got my hands on... "guess what".

170 SEK. (~19 €)
Not that I had enough money for it REALLY, but I just had to buy it. Kind of stupid though. It was 28 days before my birthday the 7th december and 45 days before christmas eve ^_^

So now I'm reading it. Sloooooowly. It rocks. Usually, I'm done with really good books a few hours after I bought it. But this time, I'm gonna read it slowly. Feel every chapter in my mind and taste the pure feeling around it.

Two days has it been. I'm done with more than half of it. (Slow?) And it owns.

Also, the first thing my friend and I said when we started reading it was "Movie". It'll do really good as a movie, if you can get the story right, which probably be very hard. Filmmakers are pretty good at ruining stuff like this... :/

Anyways, YAY! I GOT IT!

I guess you finally got JG?! May I say, I think that you will enjoy it greatly. Max barry's skills as a writer are wonderful.

I agree. As an aspiring writer myself (which I suspect many NSers are), I enjoyed Jennifer Government very much. Props to Max Berry...can't wait to see what he turns out next.

Happy reading to Snuttopia!

Yes, happy reading indeed. Max Barry is a great author. I love the way he goes about with the matter and the tone he sets it in.

Especially in Jennifer Government. That book was by far the best book I last year.

I bought it myself yesterday. Just €12.99, which was nice. Read about 100 pages last night and I'm well into the story.

I believe they are, but they have some shops in the UK. Well, I know they have at least one, because they have one in Glasgow. Although primarily a bookshop it also sells DVDs and CDs.

Hmm, strange, I've never seen one of these shops in London.

According to the Borders website (http://www.borders.co.uk/) they have London shops: 122 Charing Cross Road (hardly surprising I suppose), 203 Oxford Street, and the N1 Centre Islington.

The Glasgow shop is pretty large but I've no idea whether this is typical or not.

That's enough advertising from me.

Hmm, I go to Oxford street a lot and I have never seen a Borders shop....I will have to look for it next time I go to Oxford Street.
