As far as I know it doesn't...at least I don't think anyone in admin/the know has told us.

We also have a film director and a screenwriter, but that has to stay under wraps for now. Details to come, honest.

Well...there we go, I was right, no we don't know a website address for the movie and, infact, we don't really know much about the movie at all.

I think that this forum would probably serve as the forum for the movie until they set up a 'proper' one.

Here's a site with some info. Judging by the dates, I wager there's no rush.

I know Warner Bros. registered a few domain names like www.jennifergovernmentmovie.com, but since there's no film (yet), there's no web site.

Yeah they would have had to come up with a different name, one that was harder to remember.

No, I could have sold it to them for phat cash.

Or, at least a few bucks.

Why would they buy a website when you can register one for cheaper?

Erm, from what I have gathered, I don't think that 'production' has got that far yet.

It happens all the time. Better to pay for an already registered one that's easier to remember/shorter than to get a new one.

I checked the CHUD article, and see Section 8's been sitting on the project for a couple years -- not such a good sign. They need to find a director who falls in love with the project, otherwise it'll be much harder to 'move'. A momentum thing, at production companies. They grab the interesting stuff, 'optioning' it so no one else can have it, and then it risks not happening. I'm a screenplay reader (not for them) so I see it happen.

Clooney directed his first movie here in Canada last year -- Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (the Chuck Barris story) -- and it had themes of paranoia -- d'ya think he was using that to get experience so he could direct JG himself? Now _that_ would be news.

:D
