Hm. A Jen Gov'ment movie is in the works, how about one for Syrup? I kinda liked it better, and it would be far more ironic. Of course, considering the way the media looks at "Green Christmas" by Stan Frieberg, I bet it isn't too likely to happen...

"Green Christmas" was a scathing radio skit written by Stan Frieberg which basically sticks it to holiday marketing, and the comercialization of Christmas. Few radio people aside from Dr. Demento have the guts to play it, and many a DJ has been severly repremanded for having the temerity to play it, as advertisers really hate it.

I read Jennifer Government last week, just finished Syrup. They were both good in different ways, but I guess I liked Syrup a little better. Close call though.
