You wonder why nobody buys it?
Perhaps if the book were AVAILABLE then people would buy it. However when amazon.com won't deliver and co.uk wants me to wait until next Feburary...
I bought and read it, Very Good Book.
Even if you arn't from Canada, you can try ordering from http://www.chapters.ca ... I believe they allow international orders, and the book is Available.

Amazon.co.uk (correctly) reports a publication date of July 3rd 2003.
Amazon.com is shipping orders within 24 hours.
Syrup was briefly out of print in the US & Canada but is available again now.
Glad you liked it Atlana & Hack. :-)

i live in spain... any chance i'd find it in madrid?
hey, madrid is now the home of the biggest brand in the world..... david beckham. the book is therefore very relevant there!
hey, maxie, i'm a new yorker, but i missed you
any chance of a second tour? :?:

No plans for a Spanish version (yet).
Just gotten word on the possibility of a new book tour... I'm going to make a new topic about this now.
Well, I've got a copy reserved on Amazon (UK), and Syrup dropped through my letterbox this morning.
Looking forward to reading them both.
eh...availability is super limited (in Korea for the military) here...so just do what i did.
get the e-book.
Amazon has it for Microsoft Reader...
download MR, then get the book.
that is, of course, unless you want to sit there and hold it...
anyway, the book is absolutely stunning...if you don't have it, and find it, get it.
or, you could just kill someone for their copy...
I bought the book and I liked it a lot.

I'm buying it today!
There is no reason not to have already purchased JG! First off, read the first chapter, and if you aren't nodding your head and laughing hysterically it's time to take a vacation!
And like all great negative utopia books, Brave New World / Anthem / 1984, the chances of at least a decent chunk of it coming true are eerily good.

Who/what's David Beckham?
   YOU DON'T KNOW WHO DAVID BECKHAM IS!!! Only the most famous person in Europe, Asia, South America...infact everywhere at the moment!
I think you're spending too much time on NS...or in your house!
I must say that was one of the most poorly written books I have read in a long time. Thankfully the story was awesome and kept my interest but this guy writes like a freshman in highscool. :?

It was the weirdest book i have ever read in my life but, it was good to read something different!
I just went to my local town bookstore (no franchaise or anything) and I asked them to order it and they did. No extra charge or anything.
I'll wait 'till its released in Sweden.
And dont go offtopic.
Is there going to be a Dutch version of the book(s)? I noticed a lot of the NationStates players are Dutch, so it would be a logical step for a publisher here to buy the rights and get the damn thing translated so the Dutchies can enjoy as well. Any plans yet?
Hey, why is India so slow at everything? It's not fair. Okay, there aren't a whole lot of people here who know about JG, but those who know are faithful regulars of this game! And I wanna read the booooooook!!!
Woah, talk about mixed reviews!
*Buys JG, and syrup while she's at it*
Damnit, I'll just read the blummin' thing myself :!:

If you live in the UK, you will find the book priced around £10 in most branches of Waterstones, in every city. I walked into one at random, asked at the desk and was led to a copy within a minute. Availability really is not a problem.
