I went down to the local Books-a-Million the day it came out and bought it, read it in 2 days, with classes. Great fun.

I read it and thought it was pretty good. It was a refreshing turn from the sci-fi binge I had been on.

Read it quite a while ago (advance copy)enjoyed it immensely, funny stuff, got on the Web Site, then ordered the Hugh Laurie book, funny also
Only other sci-fi i really follow is William Gibson (local hero)
Readers may also enjoy Ben Elton's stuff for more laughs.
Still trying to get Syrup.

I haven't read it yet, but based on the little bit from the Jennifer Government website I just might go and buy it.

I would highly recommend it. It was very fast-paced, so I read through it pretty quickly, and enjoyed every minute of it. :D

I enjoy it, but personally I feel that too much unnecessary profanity is used. It feels 'forced' and detracts from the book.

I read Jennifer Government and I loved it! I think it would make a great movie! As soon as my work load lightens up from school, i may just read it again. Great book!

Yep, read it, liked it. Very quick read, good pacing, excellent concepts. Kind of like if doritos were a novel. Cool ranch ones, mind. Jennifer Government is definitly cool ranch, not nacho cheese.

I just finished last night and thought it was great... espcially how it all comes together in the end

I finished it today and I loved it! I'm buying a copy for my friends.

It was wonderfully satyrical. :)

I haven't read the book yet, so maybe it is "satyrical."

I'm going to read it as soon as it comes out (if it does) in paperback because I don't feel like paying $30 for it. It sounds really good though!

Amazon.com has it for $13.97, and if you order something else to get to a total of $25 you get a free shipping option, or else shipping should only be about $4-5 anyway. Overstock.com's shipping is dirt cheap, I bet you could get it from there for $15 total. Just some options if you're interested.

I've been trying to find it in bookstores and libraries since I realized it came out, to no avail. Given my inability to order things over the internet I don't have many options aside from wait some more until I find it. I probably won't actually get it until it comes out in paperback.

I've read it also. Good book. My dad wondered why I spent $20 on it but I don't care. Maybe I should of waited for it to come out on paperback? O well. What's done is done. You should make a part 2 to the book.

I read the first chapter :D Mind you, I only found this thing through a friend of mine. Must see if I can find it somewhere.

i haven't had time to sit down and read it yet, but I listened to it driving to work, and loved it! It's available from Audible.com, for the rest of you who are short on time. Might also be a good solution for people who live in places where it hasn't been published yet.

My daughter got it for me for Mothers' Day! (Yeah!) And it was great, really funny! But then she stole it from me (Boo!)

I think she just finished it so I will be able to catch up again.

Waiting for it to hit paperback, as my personal finances and lack of storage space (I think I've single-handedly put a few bookstore employees' kids through medical school) preclude getting it in hardcover.

I just finished reading it a few days ago, about three weeks after it came out down here in OZ. I thought it was pretty cool the way Borders where i purchased the book was mentioned, not the same store though. It was great reading the stuff on max's site, good to see Australian authors selling fiction books to the world market. His experiences seem similar to those of Matt Reily whose also making a killing on his books. Different genres, but both very action packed and fast reading.

I bought it Thursday afternoon, started it at work at about 2am Friday morning (I'm a security guard/control officer) and finished it around 6:30am, after being interrupted by patrols and various other duties.

That's just how good it was, I could NOT put it down. Now I want to read it again.
