#23: Ban on Slavery and Trafficking (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14140556&postcount=25)
#24: Repeal "Prevention of Terrorism" (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14231830&postcount=26)
#25: WA Counterterrorism Act (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14283232&postcount=27)
#26: World Assembly Economic Union (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14283248&postcount=28)
#27: Freedom of Assembly (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14306361&postcount=29)

#29: Patient's Rights Act (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14370300&postcount=31)Vote for three and only three. Do not vote for more than three, do not vote for all of them, do not vote again with a puppet (not even if it's catgirl-themed ), do not pass GO, do not collect $200.

Previous (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=587278) rounds (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=588000) have wrought these gems:

Rights and Duties of WA States (16 votes)
World Assembly Headquarters (14 votes)
Prevention of Torture (11 votes)
WA General Fund (17 votes)
The Prisoners of War Accord (16 votes)

...still not sure how to resolve that tie for third place in the last round, but it should be sorted later.

Poll coming.

Hm.

Freedom of Assembly: It's one more resolution towards my goal of forcing democracy on everybody without actually banning it. ...
Diplomat Protection Act: I dunno. Pretty necessary for our goings on.
Ban on Slavery and Trafficking: Moral obligation.

What a difficult choice: The WA had hit a good spell there, and I (and the government that I represent here) would be happy to see any of five out of these possibilities make it into the final poll... and that's even when we omit the pair of useful repeals...
Resolutions #22, #25 and #26 all clearly cover topics that involve international interactions, and all do so well in our opinion, but then #23 is a matter of fundamental rights and arguably so is #27 as well. Hr'rmm, I'm going to have to spend a bit longer thinking about this batch of resolutions than I did about either of the earlier batches...

Two of our overall favourites were in this group - the Diplomatic Protection Act (though, only because its predecessor won a similar poll in the UN, we hope it doesn't win this one) and Economic Union - and we voted for Freedom of Assembly as a third, but would not be unhappy to see the Counterterrorism Act, or the PRA, or our own resolution, advance.

We apologize for voting against anti-slavery. We really, really do. I had every intention of voting for it as I was heading here from my office, but then Susa pulled me aside and slipped me a few fins to support his favorite resolution (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14116570&postcount=24) -- since it automatically grants him immunity against all his hijinks just for being an ambassador to the WA -- and no sooner had he slapped me upside the head and pushed me along than Commander Chiang intercepted me and urged me to support WACTA, since it gives her political cover for her favorite activities; namely, detaining suspected terrorists and using "enhanced interrogation techniques" on them. And after agreeing to vote for those resolutions there just wasn't any room left to support the slavery one, since I was already bound to support WAEU. Corporate sponsors pay well to have diplomats do their bidding. And apparently so do Susa and Commander Chiang!

Purrrrrrrrrrr!!! Care to buy a poor Thessadorian Catgirl a drink with some of your new found wealth? I'll even dance for you.:D

Anyway we catgirls really liked the Counterterrorism Act, because we really like men in uniform risking their lives to protect us Catgirls from terrorist heathens(and Senator Sulla's advances). THe econonic Union was good, because it makes it easier to sell our services, though we didn't really care for the pie fight during the debate(have you ever tried to get coconut cream and merangue out of your fur? Let me tell you, its not fun.Grrrrrrrrrr!) And finally we liked the Freedom of Assembly resolution, because it protects out rights to assemble and protest. Why, just last week we were protesting in Thessadoria over the goverment's plan to add a 40% tax on catnip. Tee hee! Anyway, thats our vote, and now good sir, your dance.

Voted.
#22, #23, #26.

(#25 finally lost out because Bears Armed itself doesn't have a terrorist problem, but we acknowledge that it also has considerable merit...)

We thought this would be a difficult choice, but in the end #22, #23 and #25 had clear advantages over the competition. We aren't going to vote for our own repeal for once, because regardless of how much amusement we derived from vetoing our permanant undersecretary's more... questionable reasoning, it's not actually terribly important in itself.

Just ten more hours before this vote is closed forever. Just think, if Freedom of Assembly gets just two more votes, some lucky person may get to cast the deciding vote for the top three! It could be YOU!!
