WORLD ASSEMBLY RESOLUTION #1
The World Assembly

A resolution to establish administrative parameters.

Category: Bookkeeping

Effect: Sweeping

Proposed by: Maxtopia

Description: The Adopted Nations of the World Assembly,

NOTING that the United Nations has spectacularly imploded in a colossal fireball of extra-dimensional inanity;

BELIEVING that there is a vital and needed role for a global organizational body;

FURTHER NOTING that there are an awful lot of United Nations Resolutions;

FURTHER BELIEVING that the demise of the United Nations may be fashioned into a grand opportunity for nations to draw a new destiny;

HEREBY

1. ESTABLISHES the World Assembly as the natural successor to the United Nations, with the full transfer of all Delegate ranks and associated endorsements;

2. ARCHIVES all previously passed UN Resolutions for historical purposes, so that citizens of today may forever look back upon the masterwork of their ancestors;

3. DECLARES the pages of international law to be blank;

4. INVITES members of the World Assembly to begin work on a new volume, which may in time exceed even the grandeur of its predecessor.

Votes For: 11,609
Votes Against: 2,259

Implemented: Sun Apr 6 2008

And your point is what exactly?

That resolution was a nessecity. The UN ceased to be, and was replaced by the WA. It made more sense to start from scratch with new laws, than use the old ones. New resolutions have since passed, and we have the beginnings of international law.

And just to give you fair warning, you point illustrated does not give you carte blanche to ignore WA laws as a WA member. Good day to you, I'm off to play ride the Kinky pony with a couople of catgirls of loose morals.
Excelsior,
The good but unwholesome, Sen. Horatio Sulla

My point exactly is that this resolution declares that the pages of international law are blank - in the present tense.
Should it not ready "declares that all international law written previous to this is henceforth wiped blank".
Right now according to that piece of legislation, there is no international law.

The clause which follows the one you seem so concerned about, honoured Ambassador, remedies the problem you imagine exists.

Yours,

After closer examination of these laws it would seem that this is in fact the case. Thank you for clearing this up. I was quite worried about the authority of the WA for some time.

OOC: LOL, I'm an idiot.
