Really really short proposal queue

Frisbeeteria

I've noticed a paucity of new threads, and an incredibly short proposal queue lately. Of the two proposals up, one is horrible and the other is illegal.

Is nobody posting any interesting proposals these days? I mean c'mon, you only need 57 approvals right now. Surely there's some backlogged stuff you WA regulars have been wanting to put forward, but haven't felt like fighting the mass stupidity of the usual queue.

Now's your chance. Get it up there.

OOC: I've been really busy in RL, but yeah, I've been chomping at the bit to submit things. I just don't have time right now for even a minimal campaign.

Okay, I submitted one.

With approvals being this low, it's worthwhile to toss out vetted proposals even without a campaign. Call it a straw poll, call it testing the waters, just get some quality up there to establish a baseline. Worry about getting 57 approvals later. Who knows, you might get lucky.

I've been pondering a couple to put forward, I just haven't really worked on them. Maybe tomorrow.

That one's not gonna work. We don't like targeted genocide proposals.

Or officially declare that Hippos are really quite large.

I think Frisbeeteria is being dreadfully naive. What is actually happening, clearly, with the absence of proposals is the long-awaited Victory For Gatesville.

You should should submit it Flib. There's no protection of animals in place yet, and damnit we need a joke proposal to come to quorum.

I can't submit anything, the WA won't let me.

Aside from the proposal at vote now, there are three proposals in queue; International Transport Safety, Charter of Civil Rights and Repeal 'Veterans Reform Act." Doe anyone know what order they came to quorum so we'll know which one comes next. I'm not sure but I think CoCR beat the other two to quorum.
Quintessence of Dust

Doesn't matter. They go to vote in the order they're queued, not the order they reached quorum. It will be:

Cob's proposal
Urgench's proposal
your repeal

Edit: not an official opinion, just based on observation, obviously.
Urgench

Yeah I wondered about that too, actually I was wondering, since I thought the CoCR was next, whether it could be bumped a place to allow the repeal of VRA to be brought on as soon as possible ?
Frisbeeteria

whether it could be bumped a place

The only way we can bump anything a place is by deleting the queued proposals ahead of them. I don't think anyone wants that.

Since there is no longer a "Really really short proposal queue", I'm closing this thread. Good job on getting some new stuff up there.
