Texas cast their vote FOR the resolution!!! Marking your soldiers down as war criminals guys, that is just pathetic!!!!!

We didn't declare our soldiers to be war criminals, we declared your soldiers to be war criminals.

I am most displeased that this resolution has passed and I will gladly support a viable repeal.

Yet another drawback to this resolution: it is strong incentive to leave as few enemy soldiers alive as possible--after all, we will be paying their medical expenses. In fact, under this resolution, the Theocracy of Harmonious Treefolk could invade Randomlandistan, kill every single enemy soldier, and return home. Later, Randomlandistan can pay for the medical benefits for all of my surviving veterans. Is this a little cruel?

On a side note, most of my citizens over the age of 18 have served in the military, and we do not have a national health plan that will cover everyones. So prepare to foot the bill for my millions upon millions of veterans and their health care.

This is really part of your problem, you haven't taken any time to even look around to see who the other players of this game are, there's a whole thread about who people's rp characters are -

Forgive me for not having enough time to scour the forums of a website for this gem of information. There are many constraints on my time in real life. Such as right now, where I don't have time to look at that URL.

Oh and by the way, if you think 10 days is enough time to put a good resolution together then no wonder this one is so poor.

It's taken months of actually canvassing opinion and actual debate to put Urgench's Charter of Civil Rights together

A pity that it took so long, since your Charter of Civil Rights is little more than a rehash of the UN Declaration of Human Rights. It does nothing apart from say that these rights ought to be given to all humans. A noble gesture, but a month to make it? Well, whatever you enjoy, mate.

Now your just showing yourself up. The Charter isn't even about human rights in general, if you could read properly you'd be able to see that its a non-discrimination statute, essentially it deals with one single right, not the list of rights of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

And since your so flippant about showing other players any respect, why the hell do you expect them to show you any ? You don't have time to look at that link, that's fine, I don't have time to bother to rp any pretence of diplomacy for your half baked, cretinous excuse for a resolution. Especially one motivated by some cockeyed Fox news sob story your up on your high horse about.

Ciao.

It is truly beyond pathetic that the arrogant purveyors of this legislative abortion, who knew it was flawed and didn't care, not only have pride in their legislative malpractice, but flaunt it like a cheap whore does her makeup and tawdry clothes.

The Trilateral Federation hereby follows suit with other nations and declares all non-Federation soldiers to be war criminals. We also will support any effort to repeal this toilet paper-worthy piece of offal, and will eagerly anticipate the inevitable event of this horrendous garbage being stricken from the ledger of international law.

As someone who DOES have the title of Mod, I'd like to endorse and expand on this statement. Not only do you not have the right to dictate roleplaying style, neither do we. If you don't like someone's roleplay style, you are under no obligation to roleplay with them. Get into an OOC bitchfest with them, though, and you cross over into my territory.

Nebulantis, you are getting perilously close being warned or banned for flaming, i.e. attacking the player. You'd better stick to arguing with the Ambassador before you find yourself on the outside looking in.
