Please support my recent proposal to ensure animal protection. If your national animal is on the brink of extinction then please support this proposal. I already have 9 supporters but I need 84 more supporters. So please help save your national animal.

Description: This says that all national animals should be protected. Some national animals are loosing their habitat to people who buisnesses who could care less about what happpens to the animals as long as they make money. This will protect all national animals and prevent anyone from destroying the habitat they live in. It also suggest that all nations with a national animals existance being threatened should have a selective breeding program to ensure that the species will survive. Also this forbids the killing and harming of the national animal in any way if on accident or purpose.

This... does not look anything like a legal document. Passing this in its current state would be an embarassment.

Please look over already passed WA resolutions and use them as a template for how to fix this.

BELIEVING that national animals should be protected, and

RECOGNIZING that the natural habitats of national animals are at stake,

This resolution proposes to defend national animals and their habitats by

1) Preventing the destruction of the natural habitats of national animals,

2) Beginning breeding programs where the national animal is threatened with extinction, and

3) Forbidding the killing or harming of any national animal, in any way, regardless of intent.


Well, that's my language punch-up.

Personally, I have huge issues with the third part. What if somebody's driving down the highway, and the national animal runs out in front of the car and gets run over?

Furthermore, in my nation, the national animal's population have been getting out of hand, and the Saint makes a delectable delicacy.

Really? Would you care to trade some of them (with suitable recipes) to us, in exchange for some of our surplus Goldilocks's (ditto), so that we can try them out?
