The Repubic of Britannia would like to propose an act for the regulation of banks and banking practices. The international communities input would be most valued.

Items being considered for the proposal.

1. Regulation of lending practices.
2. Regulations regarding electronic banking (ie. debit cards, EFT's)
3. Anti descriminatory legislation in regards to bank services
4. Bank Secrecy Regulation

If any governments have suggestions or comments on something not listed, we would be glad to hear them.

Sounds like some great laws to pass in your own nation, but where's the transnational aspect? There are enough differences between nations that a one-size-fits-all resolution isn't going to cut it ... not to mention the howls you'll hear about sovereignty.

Start over and look for the implications inherent in international banking and monetary policy, and perhaps you'll have a framework for a decent proposal.
