Horrifying proposals for World Assembly Resolutions

There are several proposals for World Assembly Resolutions that are sponsored/written by a nation called "White Republicans" that are horrifying to the government and people of Alderiaan.

In the interests of ensuring social equality, avoiding discrimination, protecting intellectual freedoms in public schools, and ensuring the right to organized labor, the Empire of Alderiaan formally requests that all nations and regional representatives not vote for the proposals for WA resolutions listed below, and instead, vote for other proposals to ensure that the ones below are defeated. Thank you.

1) "Protect Our Kids Act"
"A resolution to restrict civil freedoms in the interest of moral decency.
Description: Any individual found guity of the rape, molestation, and or any deviant sexual act performed on a minor under the age of 18 years old in any member nation of the World Assembly according to DNA evidence shall be executed immediately after the verdict is reached."

Alderiaan's comment: I think that such criminals should be punished severely, but the death penalty should never be mandatory. Individual cases may required different penalities.

2) "Save Our Schools Act"
"A resolution to develop industry around the world.
Description: In order to recognize that an educated populus is the greatest assest a nation and the world has, we must make sure that no child is denied an education due to labor relations. No labor union shall have the right to organize in any public school system within the boundaries of the nations of the World Assembly. This resolution does not effect teachers and staff in private and parachoial schools throughout the world."

Alderiaan's comment: Teacher's union protect teachers from being harassed, being treated in a discriminatory or unfair manner, being subjected to unfair or nonprofessional working conditions, and fromhaving their positions terminated for unprofessional reasons by administrators. Unions guarantee the rights of workers. Teachers should not be an exception.
In addition, did you notice who this resolution does not apply to private or parochials schools? Why should those teachers be treated differently? Laws should never show any bias.
This act will not save our schools. It will hurt our teachers.

3) "Protection of Marriage Act"
"A resolution to restrict civil freedoms in the interest of moral decency.
Description: Only a union between one man and one woman may be a marriage recognized by the member nations of the World Assembly. No nation shall create or recognize a legal status for relationships of unmarried individuals that approximate the design, qualities, significance or effect of marriage including the adoption of children by any unmarried individuals or couples."

Alderiaan's comments:
a. Laws should NEVER be based on the teachings of any religion. There is separation of church and state. Here, the supporters of this religion are trying to impose their religious ideas on others.
b. The supporters of this bill are not only trying to prohibit gay marriage but also civil unions. Why should gay people be denied the same rights as "straight" people? Why should gay people be given civil unions instead of marriage? I thought the idea of "separate but equal" died in the 1960s?
c. EVERYONE deserves to be treated equally in the eyes of the law. The law should never discriminate against anyone for any reason.
d. Children should be able to be adopted by parents as long as they are able to prove that they will unconditionally love and support that child.

Thread split from Silly Proposals, where it didn't really belong.

In the Name of the Eternal Kawaii, may the Cute One be praised

We recently checked the proposal queue, and found none of the mentioned proposals still there. As we recall, none of them had received more than a handful of endorsements. The esteemed representative from Alderiaan's concerns, while understandable, are unfounded.
