Oil Drilling Act
This is a proposal eliminating all restraints on drilling for oil.

REALIZING that drilling for oil off-shore or on-shore is vital to many nation's economy

UNDERSTANDING that drilling for oil does not destroy wildlife by the fact that no animal has become extinct due to oil drilling.

UNDERSTANDING that oil drilling has become safer over the years and that oil drilling accidents are very unusual.

First: don't submit until you've gotten (and taken) some advice from the readers here. This isn't ready for prime time.

Second: what Category and Strength?

Third: Why do you think this is an international issue? Can't nations just decide for themselves?

Fourth: You do realize that by the exact phrasing of this resolution, I can, without hindrance, set up an oil drilling rig in your bedroom immediately upon passage, and there's not a thing you can complain about?

Some thoughts to ponder.

I haven't submitted it yet and it's a good thing to because those are some good points.
