I've been thinking lately:
Recently there have been alot of proposals that can't be enforced by the WA due to it not having military because that is "illegal". Well I came up with an idea that might solve that problem.
Most of you are familiar with the Jedi Council of SW right? Well they weren't in anyway under the "law" of the Republic, yet they were it's peace makers and defenders.
My idea is that since we WA nations are outnumbered by non-WA nations yet we still have friendships with some of them, we could construct a Council of non-WA nations to keep the peace between the WA nations and the non-WA nations. This would not be illegal because it is not a WA military due to the fact that it works for both sides.
This might stop problems like that of Gatesville due to them now having a voice in global and non-global affairs.
Since the Council would be made up of non-WA nations they would not fall under the resolutions the WA passes and since non-WA nations don't have a ruling body like the WA in control of them, the Council would continue to be its on its own. In trade disputes they would go and solve the problem mutually therefore making it fair. In wars they could remain neutral or they would side with whoever is the defender.
Council members would go to a region that I will have created for them via a non-WA friend of mine. Then Council members could be elected from each region, both WA and non-WA and we could continue to grow until closer until there would be very few resolutions that we couldn't enforce or very few non-WA points that would not be understood.
If this is illegal I apologize, but I feel this will work. If there is any suggestions I am your humble servant.:hail:
