Drugs are the reason why everybody is fighting each other!
Drugs are the item that mobsters and gangsters are trying to get! If we ban this, we coud atleast, make our nations safer!
Our nations, are way less protected, and that is because we dont ban every kind of drugs that exist. We wont be abble to handle everything that happens because drugs!
Let us ban this, and make our nations way more strong, and protected. Let us ban the thing that makes people kill, or makes people fight! And everybody who uses them, need to be arrested. Let us use the right to take prisoners, let us use the right, TO BAN DRUGS!

The government of the emperor of Urgench suggests that the respected ambassador for Roef,
1)go away and get some endorsements from their regional neighbours,
2)take a crash course in english composition,
3)read through some previously adopted resolutions,
4)not use this forum to spout propaganda and insulting insinuations that nations with different drugs policies to their own are criminal,
5) use sensible logic in their formulation of statutes and not wildly biased speculation
6) spend more than 30 seconds writing their draft, and then come back with the hopefully much improved results instead of wasting this organisation's time and increasing the impression that it is peopled with fools and mentally ill persons.

I'm sorry, but i find it quite funny. I don't think it is a good idea to ban drugs altogether, but you could control it in some way, like preventing illegal drugs trafficking.

This strikes us as more of a speech than a proposal. All it really says is "drugs are bad, let's ban them and arrest drug users". We recommend that you review successful legislation for ideas on what would actually constitute legislation.

We also dispute the idea that drugs are bad in and of themselves. In the Altan Steppes, drugs are both legal and taxed, like any other product. We hold to the theory that the person is responsible for their actions, not the item that may have contributed to them. If you want to own a gun, that's fine...but if you shoot someone with it for reasons other than self-defense, enjoy a lengthy jail sentence. If you want to drink alcohol, have fun...but if you kill someone while drinking and driving, enjoy a lengthy jail sentence. And if you enjoy recreational drugs, have at it....but if you harm someone or commit a crime while under the influence of said drugs...I think you know where I'm going with this.

Personal responsibility is the answer, not demonizing things.

Roef, despite the semi-insulting nature of some of the replies, they are in essence correct. This proposal would have been deleted under the "Empty Rhetoric" rules, as it doesn't actually do anything, or at least not in any visible way.

You might want to start with a definition of the drugs you want banned. Are you including aspirin? Vitamins? How about alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine? If you're thinking of saying, "no, just ILLEGAL drugs," let me point out that no WA resolution has made any drugs illegal.

Spend a lot more time reading what other people have written, especially the ones that passed. We've got pretty high standards for writing, despite some of the crap that's been passed in the past.
