killing to protect your country, home, family, ect. is not considered murder. and sex offenders are to be either exiled or burned to death in public to set an example to the people. rapists should be castrated as well.

You rang?
/couldn't resist.
I think, that if you try to protect yourself, and you kill somebody, it is not murder.
I mean, if anybody comes with a knife and saying that he is going to kill you, and if i got a gun than, i woud shoot the crap out of him.

But couldn't you just raise the gun and threaten to shoot them? Unless they're suicidal they're most likely going to run like hell. Then there would be no blood spilt.
Whether or not one's mentality is agreeable with society, they are still alive. Killing them in self-defense would still be taking a life. However, it should not be considered murder simply because their death prevented a murder.
As far as the idea for punishing rapists and sex offenders…extreme much? What need is there in causing such unnecessary harm to an individual? Wouldn't counseling be much more…err…moral? Sure they've done horrible things that really don't need to be discussed, but how does that justify taking their life? Each life, no matter how disagreeable with society they have been, is still worth just as much as any other life. Life is a precious thing, it would be much more respectable to rehabilitate these offenders than to destroy something so precious.

Yes, but if you run like hell, the attacker, the one that trying to kill you with a knife, woud still be free!~I think, that if you try to kill, you need to be killed or executed! you dont deserve better, if you kill or try to kill, you dont deserve better than death!

[NS]Hidden in death, your proposal seems too radical. Although I support self defence and the use of the death penalty for both murder and rape, the burning at the stake is too medieval for developed society. The penalties for rape and murder and the legality fo self-defence is better left at a national level.

To repeat Fris' observation, there is no proposal. Absent one, I'd really rather people didn't waste my time getting worked up about it where I can see them.

I think if this will be true all people who tries to execute other people should be killed?
That would leave this world with no executers, that is fine by me.
Maybe people who try to kill other people don't deserve better, but than it should not be compulsory to kill them.
A civilized society would try to rehabilitate them or lock them away.

Well, i think that every society shoud kill every killer, but than ofcourse, the man that executes every killed, is from the goverment. And if he just got orders to do so, i think he is not really a murderer. So i think that killed needed to be killed, but executers of the goverment dont.

If an author wants to create a proposal for discussion, they can do so in a new thread. This one has no response from the OP, nor is there anything resembling a proposal.
This isn't General. Thread closed.
