and
for past worlders the abolition of slavery is an important part of history.
Breath life back into the WA lets put this resolution to vote with the whole world!!
even if you don't agree with it vote for the proposal cos then you get the joty of shooting it down when the world votes.

It's considered courteous to post a copy of your proposal here.
Rights Of a Human!
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.
Category: Human Rights
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: The better jesusland
Description: The most basic rights of all human beings:
the right to an education
the right to own your own person
the right to be payed in one form or another for your work
and
the right to shelter
This is the SECOND attempt i alone have made to remove the revolting trade in humans from our fair world.
TRY AND FIND YOUR INNER MORALS ONLY A MONSTER WOULD NOT SUPPORT.
This would have been better if you'd concentrated on slavery. As it is, the four operative clauses are all over the place and provide no limitations or explanations. Short little sentences are easy to tear apart and make useless. ("You want your Right to Shelter? Here, have a sheet of newspaper to put over your head. Condition met.")
The final two lines don't belong in any proposal. The bit about the SECOND attempt is pure metagaming and has nothing to do with law. The final line about monsters apparently ignores those of us who prefer our laws well defined, legible, and not filled with pointless and illogical appeals to emotion.
Try again. This one doesn't cut it.

It might help your case if your proposal actually banned slavery. Currently, it's not even close.

i would like to also ban slavery but you would have to have a way better proposal to get started you really arent elaborating on what you want to do.
The government of the emperor of Urgench has elswhere complained of other nations writing entirely too short and intellectually impoverished resolutions that they must have formulated them on the backs of cocktail knapkins at the stranger's bar. In this case, considering it's extreme brevity, this resolution must have been written on a match book. Considering the very grave nature of the subject of this resolution such brevity cannot be considered merely laughable but is something of an insult to those it seeks to manumit, particularly as it does not even do such a thing. "Think before you speak" could just as easily be "think before you write" in this case.

Benedict of Nursia wholly opposes the institution of slavery. However, this proposal is so poorly written we would not be able to endorse it... Our government agrees with the esteemed peoples of Gobbannaen WA Mission this resolution comes no where close to what it intends...
Blessings and peace.
