What happens when we have contradicting legislation coming up.
I note for example that there is currently a proposal up (currently backed by 24 out of the 110 needed) for Nuclear Disarmament.
However we also have already passed legislation (by over 2,000 votes) which states that all nations in the WA be allowed to produce Nuclear Weapons.
If the Nuclear Disarmament proposal recieves enough backing, how can these two pieces of legislation exist at the same time?
Surely a repeal is needed first (which is what I intended upon doing for the original nuclear arms act but have since decided instead to simply draft a bill taking the act further) before someone drafts legislation for disarmament.
I'm sure there are other cases of this with other acts?
