Ban on Subliminal Messages Proposal

Go to the WA proposals section and endorse my "Ban on Subliminal messages" proposal please, it would be much appreciated.

Currently, not much is being done to curb the use of subliminal messages in advertising and daily use.

There needs to be a ban on Subliminal messages because

1. It is wrong for the government and competing companies to try and control the public (Subliminal messages can affect later actions.), and if this continues it can have effects on the global economy and political scene (think about it for a minute).

2. The subconscious mind has no ability to distinguish right from wrong, or judge the information it receives. When a suggestion enters the subconscious mind, it is taken as the truth and stored for future reference. For this reason, the strength of subliminal messages has virtually no boundaries, and can be dangerous when used improperly.

3. There is no conclusive way to find out if something really is a subliminal message, thus the nations of the WA need to do research and find out.

Then we don't need to deal with it yet.

The only way to prevent subliminal messages would be to deafen and blind our populations, the entire fact that it's subliminal makes it impossible to eliminate. I do not intend to support this proposal. Do some more research on subliminal messages.

I think it's a noble effort. I've heard tell of soft drink companies investing in sub-auditory technology to outfit in vending machines...sounds like a cheesy sci-fi flick, but apparently they will insidiously ''suggest'' you partake without you even knowing. Protect the hapless masses--support this resolution!
