There is a proposal doing the rounds at them moment concerning how WA Delegates are treated in the assembelly. Isn't it right that Delegates, who work tirelessly, should recieve (at the very least) a minibar?
The Resolution is called 'WA Delegates Expenses Bill'.

It's considered polite to post your proposal in the thread.

WA Delegates Expenses Bill

A resolution to reduce income inequality and increase basic welfare.

Category: Social Justice

Strength: Mild

Proposed by: Windows Vista Premium

Description: WA Delegates work on unpaid overtime to ensure freedom and worldwide benefit on behalf of other nations. It is only fair that they recieve some sort of reward for their selfless work. Under this Bill:

WA Delegates will recieve a VIP Suite at the World Assembelly with a Mini-Bar, Home Cinema system and full expenses paid incl. Room Service.
WA Delegates also recieve special observation boxes at Assembly meetings.

The revenue for these rewards will be drawn out of the World Assembelly budget.

I don't know about you, but we pay our delegates plenty. And I don't think the WAHQ really wants to put in 20,000 VIP suites. And I'm pretty sure that they already get seats at Assembly meetings, because that's kind of why they're there.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure the WA doesn't have a budget to speak of. We rely on the gnomes to take care of things. Maybe you should write a proposal for them.

The WA has a budget, otherwise how could new organisations be formed and the proposals be messaged, unless the WA staff is composed of robots?

I believe it's gnomes, not robots, but that's pretty much it. Or was that the UN? Either way, my big question isn't "how?" but "why?" Why should I, as Embolalia's delegate, be given these things? How does that further the advancement of the international community? I get paid pretty well, I have a nice house on the east coast, and a car that'll do 0 to 60 before you can blink. Honestly, a VIP suite in the crazy WA HQ isn't all that appealing to me. All those gnomes running around, drunken delegates making noise all night, I'd just assume take the jet that the Government gives me back to my place on the coast. And that doesn't cost the WA anything.

I think I know this "Assem Belly" to whom you keep referring. He was a particularly quirky sheikh from the Arabic quarter of Iest whose taste in harem women was very narrow. He preferred women with a bit of a swell to their figures in the abdominal region.

However, his cousin Assem Titty -- now THAT was a harem.

You bring up a fine point -- I've not been around much since the change-over, but does anyone know if the Gnomes made the transition from UN to WA? If not, what or who has replaced them?

Yes, they did (http://www.nationstates.net/the_WA_Gnomes), although they probably suffered some casualties in the fire...

Personally, I'm in favor of getting a VIP suite. I doubt that the other dunks, er, I mean the drunks would bother me that much.
