welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately, your proposal would be deleted for branding. Branding occured when you placed your nation name into the text of the actual proposal.

Second, I'm pretty sure that it is not in the WA mandate to move people around the NS-world. (unless of course, something like this is actually passed, but that would probably get the National Sovernity members up in arms).

Third, "Labor Deregulation" is acctually supposed to "benefit corporations at the expense of the worker". You don't mention the costs of this plan.

Your offer sounds like it would belong better in one of the RolePlay forums.

We would reject it in any case.

Hey,

I will most likely just stick to playing the basic game, everything I post has been kicked out so I try doing that. Sorry but its kinda a Waist of my time, I posted something like Global Health Care and Global ID and they got kicked out. I don't know any one so I think thats why it was not voted for, the last one was something I did because I was thinking well maybe if I did something that was not going to cost anyone anything it would be voted for well I was wrong. So I'll leave all that up to y'all and I will just stick to voting on the main page.

Quite possibly because they were not feasible. That or you just broke a basic rule of proposals or something. Have you read the rule section?

If I had to make up an explanation for why my proposals were rejected, that would be a possibility...I guess.

We do not vote on proposals on how much they would cost us. We vote on proposals that are not chock full of holes, do something useful, and just make sense.

Yeah well I we leave that up to y'all, I like the Idea of Global Health Care or Global ID Cards. I think a Global Work force is what the world needs so I think it would work fine here, anyways I'm not going to worry I will just keep to playing the basic game.

Edit: This forum is acting crazy, anyways here what I wanted to post next.

Okay,

Then can you help me write one? I know I can't do this in real life but I think it would be cool here. We can remove URK and replace it with WA so it will be a Global Worker Program backed by WA and for only WA members, if your Nation is poor then you can offer Work as exchange for Food Health Care and a place to live. You work and get help, we all can join together as one not just by name alone but by Employment Health Care Military and law. Each one of us would be as a State of This United WA, Truth Justice and Freedom and Rights for all. We all use MoneyCards with our Global IDs on them, we would pay tax to the WA. "Unite The World" Please shall come to peace givers, Death shall come to War Makers. Mark P Ruler of URK ;)

Okay so we have a Global Worker Program that lets poor Nation get ahead. If we push down other to stand tall we shall fall, If we help other up they shall lift you up as well. We shall lift up the weakest of us so that they might lift us up as well, together we are strong and apart we are weak.

OOC: actually I quite like the Global Workforce concept, but then I enjoyed H.G. Wells's A Modern Utopia which is built on the idea of a mobile population. Also, despite what Mavenu said, there's nothing to stop the World Assembly deciding that it does want to ship people around the place. The World Assembly's mandate is to do whatever the World Assembly decides to do. The trick is getting it to decide something.

That's why it's a good idea to post your ideas in this forum long before you even think about submitting it on the proposals list. You can usually get advice here (generally in-character) on what's right and wrong with your proposal, some idea of who would and wouldn't support it, and the occasional offer of help in redrafting or hammering sentences about until they fit.

In this case, the big problem is that this isn't really a proposal. It's an offer from your nation to everyone else, which is nice but not really law-worthy. If you were urging everyone else to do the same, that would be quite another thing. You'd need to write it very carefully, though, because allowing people to move about with a Wellsian level of freedom involves relaxing border controls almost completely, and a lot of generally favorable nations won't like that at all. There's a balance to be struck there, and it could be an interesting challenge.

In short, don't give up. We can be a bit brutal to newcomers occasionally, but debating how to get things into shape can be fun, even if (like me) you never get anything to quorum.
