This is a motion designed to stop human rights violations where prisoners are held indefinitely without trial.

This motion will put a 2 standard week limit on the amount of time a person can be held by a government without charges being pressed.

(Note: A standard week is 7 days of 24 hours each.)

Unless the World Assembly is operating under bizarre rules of procedure, a motion binding on all member nations cannot be considered except when submitted a proposal. Therefore, please post the proposal that you wish considered.

This motion will put a 2 week limit on the amount of time a person can be held by a government without charges being presented. We feel that this is suitable to us.. As the term week is 11 of our days and each day is 30 hours.. by measure of what the WA home base uses as it's week.. 7 days 24 hours. Thus two Cavirrian weeks is more than enough for us to get them charged tried and hung if that should be the sentence.... So we wait to see what you do with this and would support it with such a time limit in it as noted here... 'two weeks'... and assuming you mean Cavirrian weeks.. as we now require them to stand trial within one UN week... of their being arrested and detained for trail, especily if the crime is rape and murder. Some crimes may require longer investigation of the events around the crime..

Also we would consider that you change the term prisoner to suspect... As a prisoner has been convicted of a crime and is doing prison time.. and criminals are resting in graves...
