To my respected colleagues in the UN.
I have after seeing the repeal of The Sex Industry worker act go through simply because that there is better legislation in place I felt it my moral implication to run for Delegate in my region to get the Sexual Privacy Act removed.
Here is a copy of my repeal proposal. If you agree with my argument then please enter your approval to it on the site thank you.

Description: Removal of Resolution 192: Sexual Privacy Act

RECOGNIZING that it as a Resolution it seeks to protect those who are often arrested for their preferences: Homomsexuals etc.

NOTING though that it provides too many loop holes. Who is to decide that both participants were consenting or not. It is unprovable that one side did consent or did not. Allowing rapists a significant loop hole and also those who wish an easy abortion on the grounds of lack of consent when there was consent given.

WISHES to also show that it promotes the Sex Industry which traps the poorest and most vulnerable people in our World. A legalized prostitution leads only to moral destruction and destroys the lives of the vulnerable and desperate.

COMMANDS that Resolution 192 be struck out and rendered null so as to allow better legislation to be proposed which would seek the same aims while sealing off legal loop holes.

The United Nations hereby repeals 'Sexual Privacy Act'

Whilst we don't like the Sexual Privacy Act at all, we can't say that we are terribly impressed by the repeal's arguments. We particularly aren't impressed by the motivation of "the repeal of The Sex Industry worker act go through simply because that there is better legislation in place", because actually there isn't.

I would need to see a draft of your proposed replacement before I could vote in favor of a repeal.

No.

First, I would suggest you separate the idea of sexual privacy and industry. There is no need to blend the two in one document, especially a repeals vote.

I think Gobbannium is right. You should come up with better arguments as to why it should be struck out, easy to do through logic and common sense if the resolution you want to repeal is old, which it is.

The idea is for you to bring out any if not all reasons for its void.

PS: No filibustering.
