I speak to you from a nation of concerned citizens much like your own i ask you to take part in securing your peoples safety by looking and approving my proposal of the disarmament of Nuclear stockpiles and above all stop the production of nuclear weapons. It's considered polite to provide the text of your proposal here, so we don't have to go looking for it.

Although in my case, just going by your description of your proposal, I can tell you that I oppose this idea.

Description: Deploring: the great imbalance of global power caused by the possession of nuclear weapon stockpiles,

Revognizing: that countries do not need nuclear weapons to ensure security,

Alarmed: by the potential lethality of the nuclear weapons currently stored around the world,

Recognizing: the necessity of the prevention of a nuclear war in the upcoming decades,

Affirming that nuclear weapons pose a great threat to the world,

Keeping in mind the health problems associated with nuclear radiation,

beleiving in the necessity of living in a nuclear free world,

Encouraging: the free exchange of ideas concernign peaceful nuclear technology and
a)funding from international sources such as the world bank to aid in scientific research as well
b) Scheduling regular inspections to maintain peaceful research and prevent the illicit creation of nuclear weapons through said inspections
C) using the radioactive elements of preexisting nuclear weapons being recycled into peaceful nuclear energy in an enviormentally conscious manner.

Calls apon Nuclear states to drastically reduce the amount of nuclear weapons in their stockpiles by
A) setting yearly goals in order to annualy reasses the progress of said reductions
B) scheduling annual inspections in order to ensure the disarmement of stockpiles.

And in the future illegalize nuclear weapon porduction.

We regret that the Chancellor did not bring his proposal to this forum for discussion before submitting it, since we fear (and doubtless Mr Flibble will confirm) that the proposal is contradictory to UN Resolution 109, "Nuclear Armaments". We also have a number of recommendations as regards Britnian/UN Standard dictionaries for your scribe.

We regret that the Chancellor did not bring his proposal to this forum for discussion before submitting it, since we fear (and doubtless Mr Flibble will confirm) that the proposal is contradictory to UN Resolution 109, "Nuclear Armaments".

Unfortunately, since it never says that stockpiles must be reduced to zero, it does not run afoul of my resolution.

Ambassador Seigfried frowned as the representative from Ein Deustchland mimed sniping at Chancellor Gilchrist. "If you would use such a brusque manner on the Floor of the United Nations, I can see why you and your allies are constantly assailed by others."

Hayden highlighted the disconcerting passages in the proposal and twisted in his wheelchair to hand them to his new aide, Celedri Ord. Miss Ord accepted the papers with a nod and got up to deliver them to Chancellor Gilchrist. The dark Taung beauty moved quickly across the Floor to the Britnia delegation. She handed Seigfried's copy of the proposal to the Chancellor with a slight curtsey before spinning about sharply to return her spot at Seigfried's elbow.

Seigfried gave Gilchrist a moment to read before speaking up. "The Catawaban government must disagree with this proposal's foundation and therefore the entire proposal. Given the 'great imbalance of power created" by nuclear weapon stockpiles, it is foolish to believe that one would not need nuclear weapons to ensure security. For a warmongering psychopath, a nuclear weapon is the ultimate in genocidial destruction. For a rational world leader, a nuclear stockpile's Mutually Assured Destruction element is the only deterence from psychopaths utilizing their nuclear weapons."

Seigfried pushed his glasses back up his nose as he noticed they'd slid down. "Furthermore the same MAD element is not only a deterent against nuclear holocaust but extends to detering other WMDs. If you have forgotten, Chancellor, other nuclear weapons are not the only threat that a defense stockpile of nuclear weapons prevents. Space-launched Kinetic Kill Weapons, Electromagnetic Pulse Weapons, Chemical Weapons, Biological Weapons, Radiological Weapons, and even Giant Space-going Robomaids are all weapons of mass destruction not covered by your repeal and still incredibly dangerous to everyone person alive. This proposal would only hobble United Nation members and leave our bare rears in perfect position for non-UN Members to, pardon me, have their way with us radioactively."

I urge you Sir to re-consider your proposal.
Without nuclear stockpiles ,our region will not be properly able to defend itself against terrorist threats.We understand that the terrorists are occupying one huge chunk of territory amidst our region and we need to deal with it seriously.
I am against strongly,for this proposal.
