Hi I am new here so any help would be great what about a propsal of no cell phone while driving unless you hvae hand frees. many accidents and death have been tied to people talking on cell phones while driving

1) this would need a lot of work, especially since:
2) holding a cell phone doesn't increase accidents any more than holding a cup of coffee; paying more attention to the conversation than the road causes accidents
OOC: To be fair, I think it's pretty idiotic to be holding anything while driving apart from the car controls (wheel, handbrake, gearstick, indicator etc).
Danusa: While it could well be turned into a UN proposal, I suggest you try creating a Daily Issue instead. See what people think in the Got Issues forum. Many people think the UN should only deal with 'big' issues, and wouldn't see this as being one of them.
