Repeal of http://www.nationstates.net/page=UN_past_resolutions/start=20
The UN has no right to force decisions like this on nations. The right of a fair trail should be a local choice. Forcing a mandatory fair trail law is an Infringement onto the rights of a Sovereign Nation.

You mean a nation would actually admit openly that their trial system is unfair? I wonder how the population handles that?

What is Unfair and Fair? Since Fair is an opinion the "eye for an eye" system could work just as well.

First off. If your going to do a proposal, at least post the proposal in the thread. I don't see said proposal in the list at all.

Er, you do realize that in order to repeal the right to a fair trial, you'd have to repeal this, "Definition of Fair Trial," and the Universal Bill of Rights, right?

Stockandis, Shazbotdom may be asking for you to post your proposal -- the repeal. You can't just say, "Let's repeal Resolution X", you need a formal proposal to repeal it.

If you do plan to write a repeal (or rather, as Omigodtheykilledkenny has pointed out, repeals), please note that national sovereignty isn't an acceptable argument by itself.
