Trying to be a productive member of the world here...so I am attempting some legislative action.

The following draft is provided for input, comments, or general debauchery however you see fit:

Resolution category: GUN CONTROL
Proposal: No child left unarmed

Do to a rash of senseless murders and other heinous crimes against individuals and humanity this act promotes gun ownership by awarding newborns with .22 caliber handguns at birth.

In continuing with this mentality, on the occasion of a 13th birthday each child will be awarded with a .410 shotgun.

Upon graduation from an internationally accredited university, each child will be awarded a choice of assault rifle.

Ar-15 for western children
Ak-47 for third world and former eastern block children

Ammunition manufacturing, productions, possession and/or sales of all kinds will be banned worldwide.

The 'Gun Control' category only applies to individuals' rights with respect to use of weapons, whereas international regulation about military & police use of weapons is covered by either 'International Security' or 'Global Disarmament' (depending on its emphasis) instead: This clause would therefore probably need to be limited to ammunition meant for non-military/police use in order to be legal...

Isn't sarcasm the tool used by the weak because they are scared of direct speech? We will send some of our soldiers in to rescue the orphans that you have kidnapped and using for fertilizer. We already have a few other nations offering logistical and espionage support as well as opening up staging areas from where we can launch our rescue. To avoid bloodshed you will have to allow UN representative full access to your orphanages and verify your previous claims as they escort your orphans out. If it has been discovered that you willingly transformed children into fertilizer we may send a punitive expedition as well.

No worries, we welcome UN inspectors...they have been so extremely successful in the past. IF I have something to hide or fear, I guarantee you that prior to any inspection by ANY world body, any evidence of any malfeasance will not be found.

If we were...you wouldn't know so send your punitive expedition, we will feed them some of our exceptional fruits and vegetables, and then send them safely home. Punitive actions and what did you say.."bloodshed"...we reserve those words for anyone that violates or sovereignty.
