Yes, this is my first attempt at a proposal, and there are probably many mistakes below
~
Compulsory Vaccination for Contagious & Fatal Diseases

Acknowledging the speed an epidemic can spread, and the enormous death toll it can cause.

Concerned that many nations do not have an adequate vaccination programme, and/or that many citizens are choosing to opt out, putting other lives at risk.

Believes that in the long-term, the cost of eradicating diseases is less than the prolonged cost of treating the infected and preventative measures.

Requires all nations to introduce a compulsory vaccination programme for those deemed ‘at risk’, at the approppriate ages against all diseases and viruses deemed necessary by a department of the previously established ‘ United Nations Center for Disease Prevention and Control’.

Strongly encourages nations to provide vaccinations free of charge, or to offer a subsidy to those who cannot afford payment.

Further encourages nations to provide an education programme informing citizens of the facts about vaccination, and their rights.

What rights? You are imposing the vaccinations.

We agree with giving the vaccine for free but not in imposing it on anybody.

"While a warrior stands, the warrior will not let others impose their way unto him or her." Book of The Righteous Warrior: chapter 4, paragraph 17, verse 12(The Tarkhan Translation)... look it up you'll see for yourself.

Um, what diseases are we talking about? What about nations that haven't developed vaccines?

Also, I would suggest not making it dependent on another proposal. If the other gets repealed, yours goes down with it.

This could be a good proposal, with a little work.

And what about such nations as -to where- being injected with fluid is deemed anti-religious or immoral?

what if I changed 'compulsory' to 'the government must provide a', making it optional for individuals whether to accept?

yes, i know, this really is terrible- all valid criticisms...

ingestible forms of the vaccine could be great! Mix it in with some alcoholic beverage and most warriors will accept the challenge of trying to beat the vaccine's effects!

No, giving new responsibilities to pre-existing UN organisations is now specifically allowed in the rules: If the earlier resolution is repealed then the organisation would then remain in being with just those new roles...
