UN Games Act.

This resolution aims to spread peace, well being, and bring in a spirit of co-operation around the multiverse, by establishing a UN games, to be held every 5 years, and open to any nation within the Multiverse. The Games will be established at one place, therefore negating the need for costly rotations, and bidding proces, thus preventing a monopoly by richer nations from holding Games seperately. The funding will be primarily that of the UN, and costs will be offset, by relevant sponsorship/gate revenues/advertising.
The resolution:
RECOGNISES the strength that sport has in promoting harmony, and encouraging individuals and teams to try their hardest;
BELIEVES that by having regular games, open to every nation to compete in, individuals may be motivated to take up sport, therefore gaining a sense of purpose, and imporving their physical well being;
URGES countries to participate in the games;
VALUES Existing International and regional competitions and will schedule UN Games at the most convenient times possible;
STRONGLY ENCOURAGES nations to build up grass roots infrastructure to develop todays and tomorrows athletes;
ESTABLISHES a UN Games committee, which will oversee preperation/facilities/officiating of the games, primarily-
1.Ensuring financia prudence via a UN Games Funding Sub Committee as to make sure UN and Nations Funds are properly used, and everyone gets a fiar go. This sub committee will also deal with sponsorship
2. Deciding what sports to host, dependant on what countries say should be done, via the Widening participatio sub committee.
3. Making the games fair with the Fairness and Equality sub committee which will officiate the games, deal with legal and disciplinary matters, cheating, substance abuse, and other matters relating to ensuring every participant has an equal chance to succeed.
4. Making sure nations are prepared by setting up a Participating nations Liaison sub committee. This will be the point of focus in helping nations with funding/grants, provision of logistical support, advice on domestic sports policy, and making their stay at the Games Park comfortable by making sure their cultural needs are met.
5. Delivering top quality sport and facilities, via the Building and Facilities sub committee. They will manage the building and maintenance of the UN Games Park and Stadia, athletes area/media/catering and guest facilities.
6. Giving the multiverse the best access to the games via the Commercial and Media sub committee, which will assist media outlets and countries in shwing the Games to their people.
