...and?

All you have here is a preamble.

It looks to me as though what he's trying to do is to create a single currency for compulsory use by all UN member-nations... which, if memory serves me right, would be enough to make the proposal illegal even if it was a lot more detailed than this version is...

I see thet you have good reason; unfortunately the title of this resolution you have proposed is unclear.

If you wanted to introduce a single world currency, I would not recommend it because some of the UN member nation's currency are very strong and reliable. Some nations may have been used to it for years and its citizens would be very upset to see it go.

Perhaps when you write resolutions, try and give balanced views, something like this, and leave the delegates/voters to decide on the points you have made:

UNDERSTANDING that it will cause upset to people that have been used to their own national currencies for a long time.

BELIEVING that a sinlge currency would bring Strength to as many UN member's economy possible.

Sadly, I am not in favour of a single currency, but don't despair! Keep trying on various subjects, and perhaps with the right approval and the right content, one of the UN resolutions might come proudly under your name.

Good luck!

We oppose a single currency. The value of currency is a sign of changing influence within regions. A real world example: the Canadian Dollar, which was 60 cents US at the beginning of the decade, is now $1.07 US.

I don't like this idea. I want to let my currency the Hulden live and not let one single currency destroy the morale of my people! :headbang:

if this proposal gets existed in the UN, does that mean the name of my currency is going to change into something else? i like the enemybones as a name for a currency. the rules say that all UN nations have to follow the laws that come to exist so does that mean my currency changes automatically or do i have to go to my settings and change it myself? Also i dont see any claws about what the new name would be

PS-just love that headbanging, hooah

Lanteana refuses categorically to support this measure. Is the United Nations not intended simply as a forum through which reasoned debate may take place and reasonable accords reached in the event of a conflict? I daresay this body has extended its power far beyond those bounds and infringed upon the sovereignty of its member nations enough.

Your wording of the proposal is rather vague; however, should it require that all member nations switch to the United Nations' currency, Lanteana will resign from this body, both as an act of protest and to retain its independence.

This is not only illegal, but against the policys of the Holy Republic of Centeral Anatolia. The United Nations and its member states have no right to force their currency on us.

The people of Roseariea highly object to the notion of being forced to share a currency with all other UN nations. Where you claim it would strengthen all economies I really believe it would only strengthen the weakest of economies at the expense of others. My nation is not one of the very richest, but I don't want it riding their coat tails.

You mispelled: Strenght and currencys.

The preamble states goals but you don't actually have any meat for making it do anything.

Let us address each point in turn however.

a) Economic Stability to all Nations
b) Strength to all Nation's Economy

I fail to see how using the same money as my neighbor is a good thing. If his economy crashes mine will lose some value. One of the nice things about a global economy with individual systems is that to an extent you have isolation from say that third world crackpot dictator who uses his universal coin for guns and crack for his child soldiers. This would make it much harder to impose any economic sanctions. I'm gonna throw it back to national sovereignty here though, I'll handle my money my way.

c) Happiness to the World Citizens, because it wouldn't be necessary to change currencies.

What the gibbering heck is that supposed to mean. Variety is the spice of life. Ask any Dourian and they'll tell you the same. We used to use little swords as money for a while, until we realized that coin flips were pretty damn dangerous.

I wouldn't worry about that, the UN can't force nations to change the name of their currency for two reasons. One, such proposals are illegal and wind up being deleted, and two the game is not coded in such a way to be able to do that.
